thread: Possibly the dumbest doona cover question ever...

    So glad to know that I'm not the only person who has this problem, and I certainly share your annoyance, lol. The doona is definitely going into the cover the right way, so I think I'll have to try the ribbon trick

    Dd's doona does this and it's a single, size and shape aren't the problem! I keep telling her to grab the doona as well as the cover when she pulls it up.. rarely listens!

    Ribbons are a great idea!

    And yep.. Most of my kids sheets don't reach across them to be tucked in, found the same with the cot. Never understood it.

    My son had problems staying under his blanket and would wake up frozen in the morning. He has a king single bed, but we've put a queen doona on there and tucked it right under the sides of the bed. Perhaps the next size up sheets would work better too. Shame they come in sets of fitted and flt though because the fitted would go to waste if you got a set.

    I have one or two covers that do it and others that dont.. who knows. We have to buy the deep wall sheets too as our mattress has a wool pillow top.
