A friend of mine has a spring free and the plastic bits are all broken from sun deterioration. Yes it has a lifetime warranty but its a mega pita to pull it apart to replace a few bits. I couldn't justify the price of spring free. And I love vuly so it's what we'll be getting soon too. I love the access as well.
I would go the traditional system over Springfree. There is some concern over how the springfree causes torsion to the knee and how this may injure little knees. There is also bystander safety concerns. Might be worth googling and YouTube "springfree trampoline" and "knee injury" and " bystander safety concerns" HTH
We have an Alioop. Cost a fortune but will last a lifetime, is (relatively) safe, can get replacement bits if required and can cope with my 100kg DH jumping on it! With this, we decided it was worth spending the extra dollars for the safety and durability factors and really glad we did.
I have just put a vuly on layby for christmas! we have had a cheap one from target and all the springs fell out after the material and stitching disolved pretty much. I have a friend who has a vuly and they love theirs.
We have just bought the Vuly for DS for xmas, I would have loved the spring free but just couldnt justify the $.
The Vuly seemed like the next best choice
