I hate it when the rug is flipped over at the corner or the blinds are up/down unevenly.

Dishwasher has to be stacked my way (i.e. properly!) or it gets re-stacked.

At the supermarket check-out I always put groceries on the belt thingie in order of where they go when they get home - all the cold stuff first, pantry stuff, fruit, veg etc. DH knows to go straight to bag and trolley duty when I'm doing this or I get really frustrated with his attempts to 'help'. It's the way my mum did it, it's the way I did it and I bet my daughter does it too!

Ditto Mylitta with the volume numbers, even down to multiples of five winning out over even numbers.

Ditto clover with the shoes. I only wear them outside, and I tend to buy shoes that I can get off really quickly lol. It also means I wash, scrub and moisturise my feet before bed and wear socks to help the moisturising. I really don't like my feet getting dry over night.

Ditto buffy the dishwasher. DH has started helping and loading it up lately, but he does it 'wrong' so I just go do it again lol.

I hate empty sockets being switched on. I don't care I where I am, I switch it off. I switched off an empty socket in a cafe the other day lol.

I have managed to get over my peg thing - pegs needed to match each other, and whatever I was pegging as close as possible.

Oh dear, just a little strange over here!

    I have quite a few :/

Car stereo, tv, and house radio volume must be on evens at all times. the tv is on 20 if we are all watching tv, 16 if the girls are watching and 12 if its just me.

When shopping I never get the item from the front on the shelf, always have to get one from behind.

Milk use by dates must be even, unless they are special dates like birthdays etc, then they must be bought.

cant deal with dripping taps either..

    The list is great here.

OH and MIL has the peg thingy too. All female items must be hung up using pink pegs, boy for male items, and the unisex things like towels and sheets must be hung up using white pegs. (I have lots of fun messing with her system whenever we are there  )

beansbeans! - your milk thing reminded me of another one. I can't ever combine milk from two different bottles. Drives my DH nuts that I will open the new milk bottle before the old one is finished, and only use the new milk, if there isn't enough for what I need in the old one.

Oh nooo! My DH does this and I can't stand it, a new *anything* cannot be opened if there's one already opened and unfinished.

I have 'my' towels and 'DP's' towels. I don't care what he does with his towels but mine are in the linen cupboard in a rotation system so they all wear evenly. I'm the only one ever allowed to use my towels. If we have someone stay the night they get one of DP's towels but never, ever one of mine.

All my hangers have to be facing the same way in the wardrobes and they have to be wooden ones.

Spines on the DVDs must all face up the same way.

I live in an apartment and there's a short staircase at the entrance with two light switches at d beginning and d end. For some reason I have to have the switches flipped up...if for some reason they're flipped the other way I don't mind going downstairs just to "balance out" the switches...

And I hate unmade beds. My entire bedroom may be messy; but my bed HAS TO be made.

And my cutlery has to be arranged with forks, spoons and knives all placed separately. Mind you I'm not really a neat freak but I just like some things a certain way!

Oh-just remembered this one-I like to match pegs with clothes closest to them in colour...

My MIL gave me a peg problem too. Same type & colour for each piece of clothing.
Yup. That. DH thinks it's hilarious and wants to break me of it. I figure a) I do all the laundry, so bugger off, b) it doesn't hurt anyone, so bugger off. Actually most of my oddities are laundry-related. Socks, nappies etc have to be hung by type/colour/labels facing the same way.

Oh and I'm with Kaytee - finish off the last thing before you start a new one. Even if there's a new tub of icecream and you *feel* like the new flavour, for the love of all that is holy, my DH, finish off the old one, will you?!

Actually I am less and less incline to buy bulk packs of medications, eg our antihistamines or generic paracetamol, as DH will open the box from either end and take tablets from a new foil strip without finishing the one that has already been started. SO while you think you have most of a pack left, it actually is almost empty.

My coat handers have to be the same way too.
I also have to have the toilet paper a certain way, and will change it if it's not my way, where ever I am.
Sterio/TV volume must be even numbered too.

I'm another one who memorises number plates...

Coat hangers all have to be a certain way and all the hanging clothes facing the same direction

I also like to count things to find the middle (e.g. the middle curtain in vertical blinds)

I like the dishwasher stacked a certain way - I swear DH purposely puts the bowls where the plates are supposed to go...

I know there are heaps more but I can't think of them for now.

    Oh I have so many.

But to mention two that haven't already been said.

I have to shower just before going out. Even if that means having 2-3 showers per day. I had to have a shower before leaving for the hospital even when the contractions were less than 2 mins apart. Crazy I know... I would never ever not shower every day.

And I must have lip balm close by. I have about 3 in the nappy bag, one in each room of the house, back up in the car, one in every bag etc. I use it about every 30 minutes. I know people think I am weird. I get anxious if I can't find a lip balm.

Volume must be in increments of 5
Toilet paper must be over the top of the roll
    Toilet lid must be down
    Chairs must be pushed in
Power points must be switched off if there is nothing plugged in!

I have a very particular order dishes must be washed in that factors in both the type of dish/cutlery and dirtiness level.

Thankfully now we have a dishwasher but ditto about the dishwasher stacking - I rearrange half the dishes DH puts in it.

My shoppinghas to go on the conveyor belt cold stuff first, then in order of where it lives in my cupboards.

The two way switches have to be the right way, the dishes have to be stacked the right way on the cupboard and on the right shelf (DH!) The toilet seat down and the lid shut (otherwise all i can picture is toilet water spraying on my toothbrush), towel on the rail not over the shower screen!

Ohh and no taps dripping, to the point of having a postit note on the mirror for this one cos we have an ensuite.
