    Have a look for captains beds. Some are just beds with drawers underneath others are higer with more storage and a few stairs.

    We have the KURA kids loft bed from IKEA, have a look on their website, its not very high, but still high enough that you can fit toys, a cubby etc etc underneath. DS loves his

    And well priced too! I googled 'KURA Bed pictures' and there are heaps of great set up ideas

    Thank you for the direction to look in guys! Yep, we are in Victoria, but only just! Anything we do has to be able to be removed, as we are only renting our tiny little home. I have seem some of the ones on pinterest, some of them are awesome!

    I was going to suggest something like a captains bed. A friend bought one for her DD. It has drawers under it, but still isn't too high off the ground. About 4-5 drawers high? Not as high as a bunk.
