    Furniture indentations on carpet

    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for getting rid of the marks left by long term furniture? We recently removed a queen size bed from our spare room, only to be left with horrible indentations where the bed legs were. DH seems to think they will disappear with time, but i'm not so sure. Any help would be much appreciated

If you dampen a tea towel and then iron over it it should raise the carpet back up, but if wont get it completely out, the rest will happen over time

Ice according to Martha You put some ice on it till it melts, then blot it dry. It should come back to normal (I saw her do it on her show).

I was gonna say what Trillian siad!

Maybe if you melt the ice on the spot, put a tea towel over it and then iron it with a dry iron, you'll combine the best of both strategies and it will work?

Thanks girls Seeing as there are 4 indentations, I will try both methods out first on 2 of them, and see which one works better on my carpet. it works, cos it really annoys me every time I walk past...hehe!
