keep in mind that most feedback you read online, even though directed at the company, would be more about the franchisee they dealt with..
we used either roof seal or roof shield (DH thinks roof shield, i can't recall exactly!) about 7 years ago - the local franchisee was fantastic - did all the work that needed to be done to clean and repair the roof, sealed it, repainted it etc. we negotiated the price down by allowing him to put a sign up on the fence for several months afterwards. we have looked at the house again recently, it still looks like it was done in the last six months.
definitely get multiple quotes and get feedback from locals who've used that franchisee rather than relying on online resources.
good luck - it's a tough (and expensive) decision to make - but ultimately, i personally believe getting the job done properly, rather than a patch job by a general handyman, will make you happier and save you money longer term
