You've already decided... I should keep quiet

Seriously though, I was going to say - I think either scenario would work, it depends mainly on how the girls would go sharing. And for me personally, I don't work very well shut away - I need to kinda be out amongst it all. But the idea of having all your sewing stuff safely tucked away is very appealing too.

I'd also use the lounge room for the toys. ATM we live in a 2 bedroom unit, and DS's toys are EVERYWHERE. You can't even swing a cat in here, it's so bloody small. So, we are about to put an offer on a house that has a big rumpus room downstairs (bedrooms are upstairs), just for all DS's toys, and also so they are more or less in one area. His bedroom will be for sleeping only. GL hun!

we also have all the toys in the front lounge room and just a couple of soft toys in the bedroom.....it helps him to associate the bderoom with sleeptimes and nappy changes not playtime I think, plus I can let the toyroom get a tad messy and know the mess in one space as much as possible, although he does drag his toys around time to time, likes to redecorate!!

We have toys in lounge room as we don't have a lot of room. DS1 has now started wanting a few toys in his room and for christmas they are getting a under bed Thomas tank trundle which is train table and storage for train set. Once DS2 finally gets out of our bed he will be sharing room with DS1 and then I am sure they will play a bit more in room together.

Just an update. The girls rooms are now completely clear of toys and it is really easy to keep clean.

The toy room on the other hand! I need to get some storage in there so it is easy to keep it all contained. I can't believe how many books my kids have lol
