That's why I decided not to do it - I never ingest that much glucose in one hit anyway, so I don't think its an accurate representation of how my pregnancy is handling my glucose levels if I never put that much in for it to handle in the first place! However because I do have some of the risk factors (my blood glucose levels when tested with DD1 was 7.9 and the cut off was 8 - she was my biggest baby at just under 4kg, I'm overweight, and I'm in my mid 30's) I agreed to take my levels myself and if I tested high or started to go higher than normal for me then I would consider taking the test.
Yesterday I was 3.8 after fasting, 3.7 after breakfast, 4.6 after lunch and 4.0 after dinner. All within normal ranges. I tested this morning after fasting - 3.6. I don't think I'm at any high risk, but I'll keep taking them just to make sure since I've read that from about 32 weeks thats when it can rise in a hurry.
Cricket - I'm glad you think its his bum!!! lol I did my half handstand trick last night in the shower that I used to turn the girls, and I think that worked, it felt like a head near my pelvis and something was grinding into my bone down there, so I figure it was his head. Who knows!!!! I think this one will keep me guessing to the very end.
I better start reading my books again, I've been slack lately.
