Eenee - sorry to hear that things are rough right now. I really hope that you'll be able to process some of the anxiety soon, and start feeling better! Maybe it's time to get creative with food...? I don't know if anything could appeal to you right now, but if it does, eat some, even if it's not "breakfast food" or whatever. Smoothies could be a good idea too - they go down pretty quickly!
Arimeh - I know what you mean about the bipolar feeling about labour. Sometimes I feel totally fine with it, and am anticipating it, and other times it just about panics me. I had a good cry the other night about it, just feeling scared and overwhelmed and exhausted. DH was very helpful and sweet, thankfully. Glad to hear baby is making his way slowly into the optimal position! By the time you deliver, he'll be exactly where he should be, don't worry.
WilliamsMummy - Funny how it seems to go slowly, slowly, slowly, and then all of a sudden it's like BAM - your baby can come any time now! Glad you had a good visit, and it looks like things are all settling into place exactly right.
Glorious - Congrats and welcome!
AFM - we finished the floors! DH decided that he just wanted to get it done and over with, so we started last night, and then he finished it this afternoon while the small ones napped and I took the big ones for some back-to-school errands. (School starts in about 2 weeks here, and they're going to be gone next week.) I'm pretty excited about having that all done. We stenciled a design on our wood floors in the dining room, under the table, and then redid the finish in all the rooms on the main floor. Everything is fresh and clean, and looking great. (DH is toast though - currently sound asleep on the couch.)
I'm feeling pretty good. Baby seems to be rolling from posterior to LOA, which is an improvement, also. Have my home visit with the midwife this week, and after that we're good to go any time! Exciting and scary. Can't wait to see this baby, and be done with being pregnant for a while! Having some terrible round ligament pain at times. Apparently you can get varicose veins on your round ligaments, and that will increase the pain, and it wouldn't surprise me if that's what's happened to me. I've got varicose veins REALLY badly all over my legs. I had an attack of round ligament pain the other night that lasted about 15 minutes and left me crying in pain and gasping for breath. It was awful. Not sure what triggered it - we were just sitting at the supper table, and it started to twinge and slowly got worse and worse, and I went to lie down, but nothing helped. (never does.) Thankfully that is the worst it's ever been - usually it's just a couple minutes of relatively intense pain. I've asked the midwives about it, and there's not really anything that can be done. Glad that this should all be over in a few weeks!
Like I said, though, other than those occasional attacks, I'm generally feeling pretty good.
