That's the plan! My health and nutrition is at a whole new place now so I'm hoping this will be the time I get through it better. Doing placenta encapsulation too
also there is not the big threat of a massive move OS this time I was totally in awe of you guys packing up and making such a monumental life changing move with a small boy and a newborn! this time you guys are more settled and have your routines and are just in a cool place with the boys IYKWIM. All I can say is: have that baby and move to the couch and dont move for weeks hahahahaha. that's what i did this time and it was lovely to just focus on bubs for awhile and not have the stress of anything else around me.
I missed posts while I was typing!
There is something about birthing in a different house. My first two newborn experiences were in our old house and everything about doing this newborn thing is so different. Even down to the nappy thing has such a different feel to it, and the getting up in the middle of the night - like a parallel dream, almost. It was a teeny house before and I didn't have to walk far to the loo, DS' room, the loungeroom, and this house is twice the size, with all my associations gone. Hard to explain, I think I'm rambling
Hey, you know the cotton umbilical ties? We used two, in the end, so the cord stump is very colourful! That means I have left overs - I think they have Bella and Oz's names on them, if you were going in for cotton ties with your "marvellous cords" (that's still what DS calls them after all his readings of My Brother Jimi Jazz!).
ETA: I missed another post!
Bella - Aldi will be selling TENS machines next week and I've heard excellent things about them. I know it's only 6 weeks to go, and I know that if your back is hurting it will feel like 6 years, too! You could always sell it on afterwards. It's a pity you didn't get much relief from your treatments. I sent my wheelie walker home with MiL yesterday and today I really need it! Lower back is being a right royal madam and my pelvis feels mushy :/ Have you used acupuncture before? I never got round to it (was going to book it in for last week, but she wasn't hanging around!) but found it incredible last time, and you're at just the right time to start with it. Also, the Belly Bandit Upsie Belly could be really useful - it's a support belt with a pouch at the back for a gel heat pack that comes with it - I think mine was $70. Worth it's weight in gold!
