Oh hoti! 40+5 is plenty long enough to wait. I believe I would have had many Tanties by now. Sending you much strength to wait out these last moments!

    Hi Everyone,

I keep missing this thread!!! Hot sending you lots of lovely vibes to use how ever you want... be it strength, patience or Love!!!

Hope everyone else is going well... seems like a life time and just yesterday ago I was preparing for DD4's birth, I am still sitting on how her birth unfolded for me and how much it really asked of me during her labour and pushing... I still haven't watched the film yet.. I saw a snippet of a contraction on the computer and was blown away by how still and silent I was, yet I felt like I was really losing it... I have realised that it was an internal battle going on which didn't even show to the outside world. How incredible that each baby can journey you in such a different way!!!

Any time now for you HotI!!
I missed a call from my GP but she left a message and the sonographer's report is for normal growth, despite still low fluid levels Photo shoot tomorrow, if the weather holds out, and I have to remember to unlock the caravan (DP has the only key we can find now!) to get out the baby clothes so my GF and I can go through and sort things. Pelvis stabilised in a not too crap way and a friend finally specifically mentioned the pregnancy on FB, which some people picked up on in their news feeds and messaged me about...no, I didn't forget to mention it, but now that you ask...
HotI, I'm sending your uterus the memo to start the eviction process xxx

HotI, I hope that this last little bit of your pregnancy is relatively comfortable and that there are lovely people around you making you happy/keeping you from going insane.

I am a dork, because I just read your signature and worked out your name. I've been calling you "Hot One" in my head all this time.

    Re: Homebirth General Discussion #19

I think nesting is only a knee jerk reaction to how concerned you are with how much your workload is going to increase.......

Totally panic cleaning here, every ounce of energy I have is being focused on cleaning, sorting, throwing out, moving..... Today I painted my bedroom! Hence I'm sleeping on my mattress in DD3's room.

Hehe it really is unrealistic the goals I have set for this house and the junk in it before bubs arrives but in reality I know that I'm going to be fairly busy soon enough. I know I'll be more relaxed when it arrives if this 'base house work' is done, but man on man, six people's stuff and a 5 bedroom house the next few months..... Wish me luck

btw my room looks amazing went a lot lighter colour and its freshened the whole room up, tomorrow I start one of the kids rooms, I'm going to add a 1/4 of white to their colour, loving the freshness.

I see the MW next week, unsure if I want/need the 12week scan.... Mentally I want one just to know the little bug is there and ok (as if this all day vomiting isn't enough) but I remember when I lost my first angle I had no idea until the scan showed no heartbeat at 12 weeks.. But I know scans aren't great for Bubs and this little bug has already had one at 6weeks.... Any thoughts ladies? When should we hear something via Doppler?

    Re: Homebirth General Discussion #19

Well all my kids had quite a number of ultrasounds, not intentional. As due to bleeding I always had to have a couple for dating purposes then another at 12 weeks as need the reassurance that Bub is there and ok. Then another at 20 and that's usually it except DS2 where I had to have growth scan at 34weeks. In an ideal world I'd like to just be able to go with the 12 and 20 weeks u/s but my anxiety without them would be much worse so if I were to be pregnant again I'd still want an early u/s as well as 12 and 20week but that's all. Says me who brought a doppler for DS2 just to manage my anxiety throughout the pregnancy!

Oh eenee it's such a hard thing to manage isn't it.... Dd3 had a 6,12,20,26,28,30,32,34 week scan for low fluid and query growth issues and she has so many food intolerances. Such a difference in her from the other three, I had wondered if it was all the scans???? Just ideas/crazy thoughts. I so so so want to see a happy healthy bub in there but DH would like me to show it some more faith..... not sure what ill do
