Marcellus: thankfully when i got home they left messages and we were able to have a good long chat. things are much worse than i thought but baby Sam seems to be a fighter, and no matter what is a precious little boy who is loved to bits. it is turning out that although the birth was quick it wasnt the issue. they think that he might have congenital factors at play. but it's all so early and they are just working on keeping him calm and happy and rested while they run the tests. i just want to give my friend a big big hug. she is a beautiful mumma and this must be hard. thanks for the well wishes for them

Oh Cassius what a scary time for your friends. And for you- I know when you are close, the uncertainty for little Sam would be very hard for you too.

I'm glad you are feeling better stoked. It's such a bugger we have to even have these doubts placed on us in our society.

What a worrying time for your friend and her family! Hope you can give her that big hug soon - I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

    Me again!
Had my booking visit today and all is well so I guess I'm officially having a homebirth. Also had a quick listen to the heartbeat, which was nice.
    Hope you're all doing well

    Yayy!!!! Great day

No news for me... I don't have my next appointment with my midwife till 24 weeks as all is coasting along so we'll just start to focus on appointments in the third trimester.
