You are spoilt for choice here EssTee

There are several PPM (private practice midwives), some medicare eligible if $$ is something you want to factor in, or not if cost doesnt matter.
I see My Midwives Perth (Tamzin). There is also the Concious Conception and Birth Centre down SOR, Ive heard great things about all the midwives there but Ive personally met Melissa Buck and she is awesome! There is also Calmic Birth which Ive heard lots of positive things about; also I know Abbey Rhodda from The Nest on Silas in Freo and she would have been my second choice hands down.

If you want any more info feel free to PM me!

    Hello lovelies!

And big welcome to EssTee! Congratulations! Planning a HB is sooo exciting!

Ilythiya: oh man that sucks about your midwife bailing so late in the game. I hope that your partner can be the support you need regardless of their own wishes sending you many birth blessings as the time inevitably draws near to bring this baby earthside xx

Freya: i had those dreams too! i think it is a healthy way to expunge the worry and fear xx

Im stalking to see if Ilythiya has posted any news. I really hope she has had bub happily at home and is too busy squishing a squish to worry about us lol

I definitely think the dream was needed because I feel a little less unsettled now and have had no more bad dreams.

Had a growth scan yesterday. Ive booked into a hospital as a back up so I can do some recon JIC we need to transfer and they asked for a scan because of my last bubs small birth weight, we knew it wouldnt change our plans so I did it anyway because I shamelessly love sneak peeks of bub. Everything looks great, he is measuring fine and weighs approx 2.1kg right now, definitely a boy and we even watched him practice breathe! Placenta is also a nice 9cm away from cervix. So absolutely zero reason for anyone to worry One less thing that will be playing on my mind now too. Im on fortnightly appointments as well with my back up midwife coming to see me tomorrow (at home thankfully).

Oh my FREYA your ticker says you are 35 weeks. That's insane and wow that's exciting!

    Welcome esstee!

Bella your ticker says you are 77 weeks pregnant. You trying for a world record?

Another one checking in on Ilythiya, I'm hoping no news is good news. And bubs is either taking some extra time to cook or enjoying some newborn snuggles!

My baby is 4 months old today! 8kgs not so much a baby that's for sure.

    Belly rubs to all

Wow, you must have good milk! My 11 month old has not quite reached 8 kg yet, and she was born a good size.

i like your ticker Tegam. how do your kids feel about having different birth places?
