yep this will be my first HB - my first was at the hospy, second in the birth centre (which was great, but didn't get there with much time to spare!)
We already have a midwife in mind, as she goes to the same church we do. I just dont know when I should call her - I guess I dont want to get too excited too quickly?? Dont want to stalk her already! Lol

Urgh I had forgotten how uncomfortable it is inserting EPO... and with comments being made from your husband like "gee this feels MUCH different to last time, not that I'm saying you are bigger or anything, its just different, is it because you're bigger?" .... I like it even less!!

Hi ladies, just thought I'd pop in to tell you that I spoke to my midwife, and Im going to meet with her in a couple of weeks to go over everything before we make our final decision! Although, I'm 99% sure things will be fine :)
I cant wait actually, because I kind of feel in pregnant limbo - with no hospital booking in, or GP appointments - just cos thats what Im used to!

Great news about a midwife meeting...I know what you mean about pg limbo...I didn't meet with my midwife until second tri and hadn't seen anyone until then.
Yes Cassius, not long now. The bh are pretty intense these days, and my heart is ready for this babe...just putting on the final touches it seems...can't wait!

Sneaky: i know what you mean about the limbo. it is a difference to the rush of hossy tours and bookings :). i saw my midwife for the first time at 15 weeks (i was still deciding which way to go...BC or HB at that point). but after that first meeting i felt i belonged somewhere and it was awesome!!

Hi everyone, yes still here! I had my Blessingway yesterday and my birth plan meeting is tonight, so you were probably getting baby vibes Mel. I have started to set up my birth alter too, so the time is almost here! I feel pretty ready for this bub, but it's measuring average so I think I have a few weeks to go! I'm 36 weeks today.
How is everyone else?
If I can get at a computer soon (rather than phone) I will upload a photo of the henna tattoo I got yesterday...

DH met my hb midwife last week which was great...he is slightly freaked out he will have to siphon the pool water out with his mouth :rofl:
haha! my dh was also worried that that would be how he'd have to siphon it off lol! i couldnt stop laughing and then showed him how to siphon it off sans mouth :rofl: (he was relieved to say the least hahahaha!):
