I really wanted the HB with transfer stories- they are just as important in the HB journey. I'd love for women to read all those stories and see that planning a HB and having continuous care with a MW is valid and important, and that hospital births are recognised by HBers and have their role when needed.

I saw a news article where Dannii Minogue named her MWs- and I had the same ones! I told my H and he said "Well, you know she really did need that c-sect then". That summed it up for me

    Thanks for the tagging tip!!

She had a cs. Transferred for posterior pain, don't know if it was cascade once (I guess) she had an epidural. Was probably exhaustion too.

DS was a planned homebirth with hospital transfer. I think it shows the importance of having an IM as advocate, as well as the difference preparing for a natural birth makes, even when you transfer. Also, homebirth doesnt mean, crunchy hippies who avoid medicine at all costs. In our case, transfer was the sensible option given we had a preterm labour and breech baby.

    You're right, of course.
