Good news at today's u/s - bub is looking good and the placenta is anterior and nowhere near the cervix!! So a big yay and now looking forward to the m/w appt on Friday. Bub is measuring a couple of days ahead so growing well. Need to make sure at 19 weeks that scar is not an issue with the placenta but that is very unlikely. Now to convince DP not to bother with the ob next Tuesday.

PS clinic is doing a study on early gender determination and it looks like we might have another baby girl on the way. No guarantees at this early stage but seemed fairly clear.

Your DD will be over the moon, Jennifer. I don't know much about early sex determination- what makes them think bub is a girl? Is it to do with the direction of the urethra? I know my DD is hoping we have a girl.

Good news about your placenta too. Good luck with convincing DH to forgo OB appt.
