    Homebirthers, was your bub born in the same room that they were......

    conceived in ? ..........

    I was thinking about my homebirths, and conceptions And I realised that both my boys were born in the rooms that they were conceived in!

    DS1 conceived in our loungeroom. I laboured, and he was born, in our loungeroom;
    DS2 conceived in our bedroom. I laboured, and he was born, in our bedroom.

    Could be just a coincidence! Neither were planned that way. I just went where I was comfy and felt I needed to be at the time.

    Has anyone else birthed their baby in the room/area that they were conceived in?

    Nope, not here.

    DD1 was conceived in our main bedroom, and born in a sunroom near the laundry of the house we were loving in at the time because it was the only place big enough for the pool.

    DD2 was conceived in the bathroom of a house we were house-sitting for six months, but by the time she was born we had moved into oir new house, where she was born in the spa in our ensuite.

    DD3 was conceived in our bedroom and born in our dining room - once again, because it was convenient to put the birthing pool up.

    Hmm... I was going to say it's doubtful as we're setting the pool up in the spare bedroom but we were pretty frisky that month and I have no idea where baby was conceived... maybe it was in the spare bedroom...

    Dd was conceived overseas and was born in our loungeroom.

    This bub was conceived in any number of places around the house (yes, frisky month and cosleeping baby makes for imaginative play)...but I am getting strong bathroom feelings for this bub. I might just use my own bath!

    Aw, that's really sweet to think of it like that!
    Ours were conceived in the lab, so no, not going there for the birth. Think that'd be a bit weird.
