I think it depends exactly how you're doing it.
Here I'm going through a publicly funded homebirth program. The midwives give us our child health record books (already have it in fact).
Vit K is available also (possibly in drops, rather than injection). Some independent middies may require you to go to a gp for a script for that sort ofthing, not sure. I know the CMP here doesn't offer the Heb B shot - have to go to doc to get that.
Your midwife will have all the offical paperwork to certify the birth of your baby and so you can still register their birth certificate and register them with medicare etc to get your baby bonus.
They'll refer you on to a local child health nurse for follow up stuff, including referrals for vaccs.
