Supporting the choice of Australian women to make their own INFORMED decisions but not only that, SUPPORTING the midwives with a backup should things go wrong.....

When that is above board and transparent, there is no reason Home Birth shouldn't be on the table of open discussion.

Bottom line is OB's will always find a way to either link these services back to their own pockets OR completely discredit them altogether because it's taking money away from them. Time to face the facts that in reality, women either prefer the OB model or they don't. Limiting Birth choices isn't going to make them more money - it's going to drive unsafe practices and unnecessary harm
