It sounds weird but if they are going to move they are much more likely to move when they are brand new because it hasn't setlled into its new home if that makes sense (ie the muscle usually keeps it in place or with mine over time grew attached to it) - some move over time as well but most of the MIA stories I have heard have been within the first 4 weeks on them being inserted - I was on tenter hooks for the first 6 weeks with both of my insertions - constantly checking it was still there... and then each week or so I would make sure it was still there for the entire 3 year period.
Hollo, is there anyway possible you could go in earlier - another US place, someone to mind the kids other than DH (I know how hard it is with the economy ATM). If it has gone missing I think it would be an idea to find out where it is now rather than later (ie give it as less time as possible to travel - if that makes sense)
