You could always just ride the cotton pony and point to the string LOL!
Yeah, but you can put a tampon in even without a period. I use a tampon after DTD all the time to "clean up"

Maybe they need to know for sure that there is no PG before they put it in. There must have been enough cases of PG's with implanon inserted for them to try and discover whether when they have occured ie after it's been inserted or before hand.

A bit icky I agree but I'm over having any shyness about the goings on down there and wouldn't care

Sounds a bit weird, I had one put in about 6 years ago and taken out 5 yrs ago and no yukky stuff like that.
I didn't get AF with it in at all but put on heaps of weight.

ill ask the drs on monday what teh new legislation is with it all.

but that sounds a bit silly.
i couldnt see many of teh dr's i work with doing it.
it coudl eb a way to make more money as theyw oudl class it as a pap smere where tehy get paid extra by medicare over a normal consultation and then get the extra fee for inserting the implanon. just a guess.

give me a few days and ill haev an answer for you. i will do a search at work on the brand new updated legislation. we get it about 6 montsh before its released to teh public, gives teh drs a chance to go over and reject any new legislation they dont agree with or write reccomendadtions for changes etc etc
