My induction with DS1 wasn't planned so I didn't get a chance to tell anyone except mum as I was in a bit of a mess and needed to cry to someone other than DH. I wouldn't tell if I knew in advance. Not sure whether my cousin wanted the entire family to know, but we all got told when she was being induced and I couldn't believe how many times my mum and all the other aunts etc called my aunt to see if there was any news. How annoying! It is much better for everyone if they don't know until after bub arrives... no stressing for you with people checking in, and less stress for them if it takes a long time.
Thanks girls, will try and keep it on the 'low down' from everyone except our parents. DH wants to tell everyone, but I really dont want all those annoying calls/texts.
Im only 40w+4 but everyone wants to know when the induction date is, and I dont even know myself! Appointment with OB tomorrow and I will get a date then. But hopefully it doesnt come to that and bub comes naturally....
