How to make a favorable cervix??? Is there such a thing?? Old wives tales??

Hi all,
Am just wondering if there is anything you can do to ripen up ones cervix? I have heard of all the old wives tales with Evening prim rose oil, caster oil, hot food, big walks and rosemary leaf tea, yet do any of these works? I have tried them all along with horse riding, mowing lawn, farm work etc and NOTHING happened...

This is baby no 4 and I want it out around EDD as DS2 2nd B’Day is on the 23 and would love to home to celebrate it with him.

What are the best things that work? I have been induced with all my babies thus far, and wouldn’t have a clue beside the pain to go to hospital it labour started on own. I know the sign I always try and look out for but they never seem to come before induction.

Would love to go by ones self just once, as this is last baby. I can’t do it any more, takes to much out of me.

Any suggestions would be great… along with idot guide instruction would be helpful. (bad pregnancy brain ATM).

I started taking epo from 36 weeks and also I also used internally. Had my ob appointment 9 days later and my cervix was ripe. So it did work for me.

Can I ask what is EPO?

EPO is Evening Primose Oil. If you decide to use internally at night wear a pad cos it gets quite messy.

After they just normal EPO capsule? Or do I have to ask for specail ones, and where can you get them from?

Just the normal ones are fine.
