Jasp, I doubt that the study included EBM fed exclusively, which would make it impossible to say whether it is the bm itself, or the combination of the physical act of bfing and the bm.

I would guess that the bm on its own would be at least partly responsible, but the physical act of bfing may also have some bearing on this. It would be interesting to see a study done that compared the two!
