I am also in the group that thinks 8 is just too old to be breastfed. An 8 year old does not need BF for any nutritional reasons and there are definitely other ways to be close to you children. Not to mention the teasing they would get from other children, whether it is right or not, children are nasty when someone is different. It is setting your children up to be ridiculed. Though I have a feeling those girls are home schooled. If they drew pictures of their mother's breasts at a regular school they would have been sent to the psychologist.
