Apologies if already on the list, "my new baby" Jeanette Rowe, the mum breastfeeding the baby, but the older sibling is bottle feeding her doll. However my 2 year old simply says "baby drinking mummy's milky" on that page. So although it annoyed me to show a bottle on that page at all, is the BF that my daughter has picked up on.
interesting thread, will have to hunt downsome of those books. on a similare note, im quite happy with what dd has learnt about BF fromher experiences....a friend who is in her late 60s commented the other day how it was a really hot day and DD2 would need some water as well as a BF. dd1 piped up...''no silly, babies just have boobie juice...no water yet''
Miss 3 breastfeeds her cars and stuffed animals and dolls.
She also draws me with some serious boobies, because boobies are Very Important Things, apparently. Sometimes they even have their own smiley faces. Maybe I need to get her into illustrating children's books
Thanks for posting this thread, it's something I've been wondering myself lately. I was trying to find books for Moo about having a baby in the house and the couple I saw had bottle feeding.
