So far I think what is helping the most is changing the way I hold her? Such a small thing.... But I am laying her head on my shoulder instead of the cradle hold we usually do. So she has to really make it clear she wants the boobie.... Not just turn her head to get it? I think it is also manic it clear to her when it is time to nurse and when it is time to sleep? I am also letting her press her face into mine.... It is that close contact with me without the nursing.
We do BLS as well, It is hard to tell how much she has eaten in a day! Lately she seems to be eating more and more though.... And she loves her cows milk so I know it is a comfort thing to want to nurse. I was told by the health nurse to night wean her when she was 8 months but I knew then she wasn't ready...
