I have a 5 month old girl and going overseas in a month time, I've started to provide her solid now. I'm trying to think a way to make it easier when I give her solid when I'm out and about.
What does everyone think of using disposable paper or foam cups when making food for the baby? this way, I can still put in hot water into the cup without worrying the toxic substances being released from the cup. Unless you think that paper or foam will does a bit of harm to the baby??
Any ideas and opinions are welcome and appreciated.
Hi carly,
I would definately recommend the Avent cups too.... the coffee cups might be cheaper but you cant be sure there arent any nasties from the styrofoam that might get into the food....
I know its hard when your looking for a cheaper option.... but with those Avent ones you can micro wave them, stick them in hot water and they are always reliable to stay air tight when they are in the nappy bag..... and they are reuseable too
good luck and enjoy your trip overseas lucky duck :P
I know you don't have a Boots over in Australia, but do one of the larger chainstore chemists/drugstores do re-usable plastic food storing things? I love the Boots ones as they do finger food ones and baby food bowls with lids that have covers for spoons and forks.
Or just do as I do and keep a packet of grapes in your handbag.
