I have been largely baby led with breastfeeding so far. However, when DD nightweaned at 15 months, and later changed her mind, it was my decision to not start night feeds back up again.
DD cut down to around 3 feeds a day during pregnancy, and when DS arrived and my milk came in i gave her a bit of leeway, but over time we kinda mutually got back to 2-3 feeds/day.
I am really happy to have been able to keep feeding her over the last 6 months, and i don't necessarily want her to completely wean now, but i also feel like i need to set some limits so that i don't get worn out.
I have decided to cut out the morning feed. this one is starting to really annoys me, and interferes with starting the day. DS is getting harder to settle (again), and by the time i get him to sleep for his nap, i am touched out and want to *do* something, not sit around feeding DD for however long.
Today is day one, we have all had a bad night, but i just can't feed her this morning. heading out to jump on the trampoline and hope she gets over it. wish us luck.
