Thanks ladies. It is hard, but I am pretty proud that it was her choice. I keep telling myself she must feel pretty safe and secure with the life we are giving her... And is confident without her ninny.

The boobs were pretty full and sore until today... They seem a lot softer now?

I think I am finding it hard mostly because breastfeeding has been such a huge part of being her mum if that makes sense?

That makes perfect sense, nourishing a baby is a huge part of their early life. I see it as a gift. One that they might not consciously remember or recognise when they're older, so that's why it's so selfless, cos you're doing it purely for them, and their health. Everything else you do in life, you usually get some acknowledgement for, except for stuff you do for your child. The bresatfeeding was a pure gift, that's why it's so precious.
