sj - they need abt 600ml per day. this includes milk, cheese, yoghurt etc dairy products.

my friend had this same problem so introduced cow's milk plus her ds's normal milk. (he was on formula)
does mj take a sippy cup? maybe give her some ebm, with a little cows milk. slowly reduce the amt of ebm and increase the amt of cow's milk till she has all cows milk?

re weight.. lakshman hasnt put on a lot either.. he's been sick and when we took him to his gp, he said it's ok. esp at this age, they are so mobile, they are burning off what they consume....

Prama, thats a good idea, now that we have dropped 2 feeds and having been away, there is a bit of a stock pile of EBM so that may work.
Yes she takes a sippy cup - the only problem is that she doesnt really take much EBM, but worth a try - i will mention to Mum as she has her for the next 2 days and has all the EBM.

    Good thinking!

poopy has 2 different sippy cups, one for water and the other for milk. he knows which is for which, and takes the one he feels like drinking. when he wants milk he will reach out for the milk one. when we are out, we fill up the milk one and take water as well. and he will go for milk when it's his milk drinking time.
was just thinking maybe have 2 for mj, in case she doesnt want her milk, she doesnt completely stop associating the sippy cup for water. dont want her to think her water cup is now a milk cup and not want it anymore...
