I think it has to be the combo of cuddles and warm milk. I personally love sitting down in the evening in comfy clothes (esp in winter - a blanket wrapped around me preferably!) and a warm drink. I imagine its the same for the littlies - breastfeeding offers warmth, comfort and a yummy warm drink.
I wish that I could feel that relaxed as often as DD does, LOL!
