Ooooh, sounds yummy - Can I substitute formula instead of regular milk as my DS is only 6 months so we wont be going onto full cream milk until 12 months?

I *think* milk is ok if it is in food, just not as a substitue for breastmilk/formula until one year old, although having said that I used to do breastsmilk in custard until 10ish months as it seemed to have a lot of dairy and I wasn't sure about it, so you COULD probably use formula. Don't quote me though

ETA: Oh yeah I used to put steamed apple/pear pieces and watermelon puree in Jazzy's custard. She LOVED it!!!!!!!!!! Actually, I might make some for her when she starts feeling a bit better. And me too YUM!!!!!

Yum they sound delicious - mum also used to use breastmilk in custard for my sister. She would also stir through some sweetened stewed rhubarb puree, which Quinn seemed to like.
