I would be offering some finger foods and see how he goes. Tristan (now 9m) loves bits of sausage, steak, cooked carrot, cauliflower, bits of toast, anything that can go in the mouth does lol.

We did baby led solids so started with finger foods at 6 months so I say give them a go!!
