    I don't know about any kind of definate guidlines, but I wouldn't be giving a young baby or even child food that is left over for so long. I would make him something else. Just to be on the safe side.

    One of the books I have says not to keep any leftovers for bub for any longer than 48 hours.

    The labels on manufactured baby food say to use within 48 hours of opening. So I have always followed that with any food that I make.

    I usually go 24 hours to be on the safe side. If it hasn't been eaten in 24 hours, it's not gonna get eaten!
