    I've read 2 years.. but I don't think I waited that long.

    Yep definately they recommend to wait till 2 years old to offer honey due to the risk of botulism that can be fatal!
    however if you are using honey that has been cooked in product above 65 degrees- then any botulism would be killed!
    this advice was second by my MCHN as well!
