They ones in KEMH were quite comfy... for memory they did up behind your neck then under your arm, something like that so they were quite flowy... lol.

This is a quote from the post Ash made yesterday "I made a suggestion to mods if we can have a general chatter thread in the young couples/etc forum as opposed to continuing using this random thread. Guess we'll see what happens."

I'm still replying to all the ones before the most recent posts, but, in short -
I posted a thread in Forum Help, Abbreviations and FAQ's called "Younger parents/couples/etc forum" (or similar) requesting if we could have a general chatter thread for the Younger Parents Forum.
Obviously this thread was a random one we started posting in - so i thought if we had one entitled "Younger general chatter" or the like - the other 'youngins' might join us for a chat as well - I know meg joined us today too =)

No news as yet, Sarah_H said she'd confer with other mods for me/us - but i'm sure you could all show your support of the idea

Will post again shortly, have a marathon coming up!! LOL

    Wow-ee everyone's really talkative today =D
Ok, so onto my eventual, will happen, marathon posting. Only because i'm so blindly ignorant of so many things lately i want to make sure i reply to everything! :P

Nina!!! Hi Oh my gosh, food. I hadn't even thought about Christmas Food. DF and I will be going to Mum's who'll be either about to pop or already popped with twins, so i might have to educate Anthony and Wayne (step-dad) on how to cook!! PMSL, sif that'll ever happen. Ok ok, i shouldn't say that, Anthony is quite a good cook when he wants to be, but i don't think he could ever pull off a roast.
I've known we're having a boy since 20 weeks! I just didn't write 'boy', i had the text in blue - i thought it would speak for itself, but obviously not so much so as i've had a few people ask recently Either way, yes very exciting! Can't wait, it all seems to be getting so gosh darn close. I'm sitting here thinking, ummm, 11 weeks to go, OMGOSH THAT'S ALMOST TEN - OH DEAR GOD NO *flips out*. PMSL.
Christmas plans, now that's a good question, we plan on going to mum's. But we also planned on having a house, and that's looking less and less promising by the day *fit of rage later*. No doubt something quiet at the parents' anyway, my brothers will get all hyped up on too much chocolate and exhaust whatever new techno-playstation-gadget thing they get.
As for new years, no plans as yet, i wouldn't mind trying to make some quick fast cash babysitting, to tell you the truth, but i don't know how i could advertise myself, and the only still current babysitting reference i have would be my mum - and i don't know how many people would see that as valid... Although on that note i have done partial childcare training and she has her degree and teaches childcare so maybe her reference would be even further validated... who knows?
As for the tummy moving stuff, mine i have only noticed recently - i did post a thread about it in third trimester pg discussion if you want to have a look - or add to the excitement, a lot of people have put in stories there too...

Tali! - Don't worry, these days i curse myslef for having cursed my DD's - they were way more comfortable and accommodative (??) than these huge damn things. Whilst i would look just as disproportionate i think would almost prefer A's at this stage. They drive me bloody bonkers. heh...
    Good luck with your trip!

Sally - Good to hear the party went great, i'm glad you had a good time!
I know what you mean.. time flies... and this isn't even with a bubby! I was talking to one of my best friends the other day. Due to boy complications and the like, this time last year we pretty much completely detested each other, and by some twist of fate in mid jan, became friends. Now she is one of my best friends, and was the first person i told when i knew i was 'late'. She paid for and bought the HPT for me, and i told her before i even told my dear DF. I clung to her for dear life in the early days because DF and I were so unsure of what was going to happen between us. It's amazing the things that can happen in such short time isn't it?
I really badly want to pick up all out laybys and start packing bags and all that jazz, but we don't have the room for it yet, and unfortunately we have to get a place to live first. *scowl* But it's going to be so exciting. Oh i'm drooling just thinking about nesting, i'm going to be crazy, LOL!
Hehe - I'm so proud of us talkative 'young ones' - i love how you slipped in 'page 13' in your post in my request thread - i should have mentioned that earlier, good one!

Meg!!! - Hi, welcome to our little chatterbox / thread / bunch / etc ... It's good to have another friendly face =) Congratulations on your little girl! How's the pregnancy been so far? Have you done your shopping yet? I hope everything is going fantastically for you, and i wish you the best for the remainder of your pregnancy, i hope it is fabulous for you!

Joanne!! Wow seems like everyone's sort of going away or has big and sort of exciting plans for Christmas, poor me =( hehe. I'm just excited to not be working the days before and after which is something i had grown accustomed to for so many years. Gosh i'm feeling fat and uncomfortable already. I cried today when i couldn't do up my own shoelaces, and bending down to pick up anything off the floor is becoming more and more of a strain - more of an excuse to make DF do things for me though, right?!! Heheh *evil laughter* I get frustrated by it easily because i have always been the type of person to pick things up for someone when they drop them, AND NOW I CAN'T DO IT! not even for myself!!!!!

Cate! - I hope you're feeling a little better after you had your vent, and i hope you have a better day tomorrow. I'm sure you'll feel a bit better once you've had a chat with the owner and etc. Some more for good measure.

Alright, i'll cut my chat off here, for now at least - because i think if i write anymore you'll all be bored to death before you get to the end of it. BUT at least i don't feel out of the loop for the day!!

    Heya all!
Its quite late, and also i dont really know all of you *that well* yet, so im not gonna do full on personals...for now :P
So far i have bought NOTHING for bubs! I know! How horrible...but its just the way its happened haha...and my gosh i cant WAIT to buy stuff. DP and i both know what we want though, so wont be toooo hard...but with me working full time every week and him working over full time every second week, it kinda gets hard to actually have time to go together to buy stuff...but i finish at the end of this month, and i *think* DP is going to be finishing his job (too much for him to handle) sooo itll all be happening...and soon
My PG has been pretty good so far, actually, its been golden. Everything has gone perfectly, next to no MS...and bubs is growing at a perfect rate...so really, i cant complain. Would be better if i didnt have to work of course haha! But i guess thats always the case
Any ways, beddy byes for me!! Ill b back though!!

Meg, I'm glad everything is going well for you!! Lucky about the MS too.... I suffered BADLY!

Well girls, I'm off for some personal shopping today, i've lost some weight and i'm almost bak to pre Brendan Not many of my clothes fit me now... all too big... LOL. I'd like to lose another 5-10kg... but not in a hurry to do so. I know I'll never fit back into certain things, lol, my hips just will not permit that! My family has an unlucky gene of the hips spreading... damnit. Oh well at least I have a shape now, I was a bit of a stick before, now i'm an hourglass

    Take Care and have fun!!
