Younger Couples Chat - Feb 2008

Oh Yay congrats Jess on the birth of Jaylen, i knew as soon as i logged off someone would be posting about you or Jen haha.

Well i enjoyed my time out of the house, was going to do it again next week but my parents & sister are here so would be a bit rude of me to duck out and leave them at home, but once they've gone home i'm going to meet up with the ladies again. Had a hot choco from gloria jeans with marshy OMG i forgot how good they taste, Sophie was great the whole time i was out, i heated a bottle for her before we left as she was due for a feed at midday. Now i'm back home watching the cricket and eating my dreamy donuts i bought (naughty naughty me), and contemplating unpacking re-packing the dishwasher, i think i'll leave making the spare bed until mum gets here tomorrow and do the air bed tomorrow about lunch time.

Ali- i seen Alioops was the last to post and thought straight away 'Ali's changed her name' not the fact we could have a new person chatting with us HAHA.

Just letting you know the scan went well, looks like we're having a girl. So I'm a bit sad, but excited at the same time because we had picked out a girl's name so it makes things more real. Would have loved a Little Man though.

They gave me profile pictures, they aren't too bad. I didn't find this scan as good as the last one because it was much more difficult to see things. It's scary that she has bones though, they showed me a good picture of the thigh bone and it totally freaked me out!

Yea, i found it the same Emma for my 19w scan that it was harder to see everything..its coz bubs is getting so big. I got a awesome scan pic of her feet though that i absolutely LOVE!! I cant wait til my 32 week scan...!
I had a dream the other night, about my bub, she was only a few days old, she was so beautiful, and such a angel for mummy and daddy..i cant wait to meet her!!

how was everyones weekend?

Hiya,

Not too bad, I haven't posted a lot, it's not that I don't love you guys anymore but I just needed a little break from things for a while, I have pretty much been a hermit!
I cleaned out Josie's room a bit more today, put a rug in there that we had rolled up in the shed. Still in good condition, just needs a bloody good clean. I'll have to go to the shops during the week and grab some carpet cleaner. I'll try and go to Target during the week, they have a special on Mother's choice strollers so I'm going to grab one.

We have finally agreed on a price with our mates for care for our baby, which is good, that's another thing I don't have to worry about! :)

well, not much happening here. Sarah has her 1st night on a big bed tonight. she seems to be doing ok.

I just found out I may have a wheat intolerance, grrrr!!!! Do you know how much stuff has wheat in it? Nearly everything that tastes good.
And gluten free bread is that heavy its like eating cake.

I really like that Burgen bread though - i think it's gluten free too, but i guess im weird sometimes.

WOW only one page to catch up on...where is every one!!??
I went baby shopping yesterday and today, i bought the pram, the 2 car seats, and the bouncer/rocker yesterday, and today we bought the cot, change table, matching drawers, and a few small things like towels etc...not much more to buy now! I cant wait till the nursery furniture is delivered on thursday!! Then our nursery will look more like a nursery, and not a storage room for all the baby items, he he.
Well i hope every one is going well! And that every one comes back soon, bcoz its boring logging on and seeing NOTHING lol. Its all good :)

My weekend wasnt busy as such, my parents & sister arrived saturday afternoon so we were just having a bit of family time. We ordered a birthday teddy for Sophie today says it takes atleast 28days to arrive. The photos we had taken in hospital arrived yesterday & Sophie looks really cute in them. Well Sophie is taking 120mls of EBM now most feeds, going to the health care nurse on Thursday to get Sophie weighed and checked over and going to Target to get my free 3rd Bounty bag and have a look around.

Yeah sort of, apparently its not quite bad enough to be "diagnosed". The spaghetti wasnt too bad, I hope that bread is gluten free coz that one is so much better than the specialty stuff.

Sal i just checked the website - im not sure that its gluten-free, i think it's just that i thought that because you can get rye and weird seeds, not standard white / grain etc.
I know my housemate used to eat the Burgen bread range though, that's why i thought of it.
I guess it depends how bad you have it...?
