Yeah we can talk Meg haha, page 12 now, suprised that Sarah hasnt closed this one and opened a new thread.
Well i had a restless night, was having lower back pains & period pain that was the WORST i've ever felt in my life!!!, but i didnt time them as i didnt know how i was suppose to. All this lasted from about 1.30am until about 4.30am, i even rang the hospital but the lady just said it was early labour and it could last days but if things intensified to ring them back & go into the hospital they didnt. I've still got some lower back pain & period pain but its dull. Going to a baby shower today for a friend whos due in March still got 3hrs until SIL is picking me up and then i have to make it through the day.... wish me luck that i do

OMG!!! i just had the night from hell!!! Bella was up all night and i had 2 work 2day i called in sick im so tired i cant sleep, i no i sound crazy but its true. Later on ill crash! When does this end?!

Kass- 1 week & 4 days, my ticker just hasnt changed. I dont think i'll last much longer either either i'll have the baby or i'll demand they get it out haha, i dont think i can put up with too many more nights like last night

Jo - how exciting!! I definately think the baby will be coming in a few days. I think I had similar pains, and I think it was 2 days later or so that the baby came.
Are you thinking of having an epidural or a natural birth?
Kass - I had so many nights like that when Ruben was younger. Trust me, it gets a lot better. The only problems I have now is the 6am wake up by my little monster. Although last night he was walking around the house crying for me around 2am. DP told me this morning.. apparently I went and got him and brought him into bed and we went back to sleep. I totally don't remember at all - I was most likely sleep walking again.
But yeah, it should start to get better after she turns one or so.
Sally - I looooove ebay too. I used to buy and sell stuff on their all the time. It's majorly addictive!

Regan- going for a natural birth but if i need the drugs they'll be giving them to me!! haha. Will wait and see how the next few days pan out if i dont go insane in the meantime, 1 of my aunts is driving me NUTS with her stupid comments, i havent told anyone about my restless night apart from DP & SIL who is on stand-by incase DP is at work as shes only 5minutes away. I just dont think i could handle the phone calls i'd more than likely take it off the hook :lol:. Apparently my dad was going to ring yesterday or Thursday but my older sister told him to leave me alone, he said he was going ringing to talk about the cricket (more like gloat) but the subject would have changed quickly to "have you popped ya sprog yet" haha good old dad doesnt beat about the bush.
Ebay is SO addictive!!!.

Meg, I can't help ya with maternity clothes, cos I didnt need them!! But there are a few maternity shops around. I looked them up in the yellow pages :p

We have some visitors atm and i really am not into the whole thing. I was enjoying just being here without any visitors iykim??? i spend all week alone and want to go out or have the odd visitor ect, but like to keep my weekends open and free and spontaneous! LOL

I spotted a maternity shop today, didnt have a look in though coz we had a huge list of other things we needed to do but it looked REALLY good and in fashion, so maybe ill check it out on monday or tuesday, see if i can get some shopping in hehe ;)
I finally found a waffle maker, i was looking everywhere for one and no one seemed to want me to have one, but i found one (been having majour cravings for waffles lol) and DP and i have been decorating our house :) it looks so pretty now hehe!!

Oh Cate, I really do hope they let you stay in Brisbane.... it's just so simple you can't afford to live in Sydney. I dont think they can force you to stay in Sydney but if they do say you need to stay in the state maybe you could move up closer to Brissy??? Is that an option??

I've only just got up about 20minutes ago.
DP has gone deep sea fishing, so i'm home alone and needing to clean up bubs room as i've been lazy and havent put everything away where it should be. Other than that i'll be lounging on the lounge.

Haha Sally, its just a matter of putting a sheet on the cot mattress, and put the toys away and wash the clothes i won on ebay that i havent had the chance to do, i havent got much to do just havent been bothered to everything has been put together so no worries about having to do that.

Nah not lots, DP insisted the day we bought the cot, change table & bassinette that we put them together so theyve been sitting around since August waiting haha. Just my motivation isnt high.
I had more period pain & lower back pain last night but it just stayed dull & didnt get anywhere near as bad as the other night

Well, my name's Emma, I'm 21, married, and expecting my first bub in early July. I still have heaps to learn and to work out in terms of finances and work etc. but I think we'll be ok. It's all just a bit overwhelming at times! This morning I only just realised that I'm not far away from being halfway through the pregnancy already!!

I need some opinions.... I want to get a tattoo done and hopefully before I go to Melb... but anyway I've uploaded a pic of a flower (frangipani(sp?)) that i like and thought I'd have it in the centre of some tribal work. What do you guys think?? I'm getting it done on my ankle so it's going to quite small. the flower will be about inch x inch. And the length of the tribal will be around my whole ankle, so its a bit like an anklet.
What do you think??

Meg - If you've got a pumpkin patch near you they have some really nice maternity clothes and they're not that expensive. I've been looking at them but they dont fit me yet!

Sal, are they reasonably priced?? The guy I go and see is really good and reasonably priced... I'll also have brendan with me, so there needs to be space in the palour for a pram, i'm sure there would be LOL!

Sally- Your tattoo idea sounds good, any reason for the tribal bit of the tattoo?. I dont think i could ever get a tattoo would be too much of a wuss i reckon haha i'm not keen on needles or pain.
Kass- Welcome back, glad you had a great time away.
Sal- I've got 20days max left (thats including going over 10days), but honestly its long enough. I had more pains overnight but they didnt eventuate into anything and stayed dull. So now i'm feeling kinda over it and ready for bubs to come.

Cool that you've already got 1 tattoo. Yeah i'll happily go through child birth and put up with the pain and needles, its just the needles for blood work etc any other time that i hate make sense??.

My tattoo didnt really itch that much lol, but i think thats coz i soaked it in bepanthen lol.
Im going to start on bubby's room soon :) i cant wait yay!! Ill post pics of it when i get some when i start! Im thinking of a pooh bear theme...or a butterfly theme...needa look around first and think about it more though. Did you all have a theme or not really?

Sally - I have four tattoos, three of which have a tribal theme, because it was just something I much preferred to the usual tigers, butterflies etc. My biggest one is on my lower back and is of a silver fern surrounded by the tribal patterns, it took just about 2 hours for them to do.
I had one done on my ankle in October 07 (didn't know I was preggers at the time! lol) and I think that the ankle hurt a crapload more than the one on my spine. Could have been because it was a while between my most recent tattoo and the one before that!! Warning you though, tatts can be addictive, which is why I have four!!
Kass_20 - Not sure of the sex yet, I had my last scan at 12 weeks and they couldn't tell what it was yet. I have got a referral for the 18-19 week scan in my handbag so I'm going to book the scan and then we'll know for sure. Hoping for a boy!!
Anyway, I'll be having a shower and heading to bed soon, I'm really pooped and I unfortunately have work tomorrow!! Take it easy :)

Emma, I am addicted... lol, it's just a case of having the money!! Plus i'm into piercing as well... I have 11 piercings(my belly and 6 in my left ear and 4 in my right) and 1 tat. I LOVE the adrenaline rush you get while in the waiting room :D
