Bianca - I was terrified my waters would break at the 21st I went to the night before Maddi was born, but instead they broke 1/2 hour after I got home
hi, i thought i might have a peek in this thread as i was pretty dissapointed that at our antenatal classes i met nobody my age that lived in our local area (there was one other younger couple but they were from just over the border - i live in north coast nsw) - i was the youngest by far though which was a bummer as I was hoping to make some new friends. I'm hoping some young mummies will appear out of the woodwork at playgroup.
i'm also freaking out about my waters breaking in public! i have a bestie's bridal kitchen tea party on this weekend (although she lives just over an hour away) that i'm not going to purely out of the fear that i will have my waters break or go into labour at the party. the long car trip with feet up under my ribs is a bit of a deterrent too haha!! lucky she's very understanding :D
Girls, Most people dont have their waters break to start things off. if you are really worried you can wear a maternity pad but it would be a waste if your waters were broken right at the end like mine were
Thought I would Jump on here quickly and say...
Im still pregnant!! Still waiting for this little munchkin to arrive!!! 37 weeks now!! YAY
Had ultrasound yesterday.. hes a biggin!! Measuring 38w 6d (dates 36w 6d) and estimated weight 7lb 8 already!!
His measurement around his belly was 40w 1d and his feet are HUGE!!
I do have a cousin thats 6ft8 and my dad is 6ft2 and dp is 6ft... so i guess tall people are all around me!!
Also My mum has size 11 feet, dad size 13, brother size 14, DP size 11 and mine size 10... so i suppose i cant really complain hehe
Anyway.. im feeling alright.. blood pressure is up and down.. ranges from 110/60-156/95 so thats why im getting massive headaches.
Bub isnt engaged yet. but i have lost my mucus plug so now just waiting for him to want out... although.. im not sure after all this time that he wants to come out!!!

not much to say.. yeah i think my waters are going to break right in the middle of class as im doing a fulltime business course atm. It would be funny i think. But thats me, i dont care what other ppl think about me lol.. i think it would put some excitment in thier day!lol
Congrats on making it to officially "full term" bianca.. wow 7lb8 already! good boy!! Yeh my BP keeps rising grrrrr its frustrating but ill be right.
Lol - u will find girls around your age just prob not in the most obvious places. If you are feeling abit left out dont hesitate to jump in here we are all the youngins!! hehe
Um.. had my 4d scan.. was awsome :) shes definanlty a girl!! yay!! shes absalutley gorgeous and now it has made me more anxious to meet her! 11 weeks to go..
GD test came back that i dont have GD so that was a huge sigh of relief. I have my next midwife appointment next tuesday.. fingers crossed my BP has gone down.

the pregnancy is going ok. I had my gestational diabetes 2 hour test which came back A OK. To much wanted relief thats for sure. The only real issue im having atm is my blood pressure. It seems to be slowly creeping up every appointment. Midwife isnt too worried about it atm but she wants to see me alot to keep checking it.
apart from all that i just have the usual complaints.. heartburn, sore hips/pelvis/back etc etc etc and so on. But hey, im strong and my little girl is strong and im sure we can get through anything. I am getting very anxious about meeting her... i want to meet her now but i know she has to stay in there for a little while yet :) Not much else to say really, pretty tired today but i got the day off Tafe so thats a relief. So hard to get comfy in bed nowadays..thinking i might go get one of them body pillows. Anyhoo... how exciting it is that u are starting TTC this month. Sending loads of baby dust your way! i hope it all happens this month for you. mwah mwah.. take care xoxox
Hollye, glad the Tolerance test came back GOOD. GD is really hard to deal with, my aunt got it with her first. Glad things are going well, hope your BP stays where it is, you definately dont want to get PE.

yeah i hope it doesnt turn into PE either but theres no point stressing over it coz there is nothing i can do about it. Just take every day as it comes. Im willing to go through anything this pregnancy wants to throw at me for my little princess :)

Emma, I had to have the 2 hr test with Brendan..... I wasn't even aware of a shorter one!
I went to a parenting expo today, got some freebies and lots of info on stuff....lol. Bought some premmie stuff of which the procedes go to the premmie foundation. It was fun!

You've already got your maternal instict, thats so cute, weird how you get it before they are even born, before they are even the size of a peanut. It's something only a mum (no offence to the dads) can get, its the best bond to have i surely wouldnt trade it with any of my girls for the world.
I had the 1 hr test as well, although it really takes more like 1 1/2 hours cause you gotta drink the super sweet gross stuff and then wait an hour and then have ya blood test. Ouchies.
It's funny cause last night Charli was moving round and wiggling heaps and i was missing my lil princess(Alyssa) so i went and laid in her bed with her, even though she was asleep and cuddled her. I love watching her sleep, shes so cute. It scares me sometimes how much i love them both already and it hasnt been that long at all.
Well im off to get some rest, it's getting harder to sleep now that the lil wriggle worm moves so much and my tummy is so big....

Josie is getting bigger and more alert every day and she's soooo cute!! She has a great personality too. She seems to be a rather social little being and doesn't mind being passed around! Which is great because DH's family loves to give her cuddles!

Brendans Mum- Hope TTC#2 is going well. Oh no.. to getting burnt, you never think to put sunscreeen on in winter and then ya get burnt, im white as so i just stay inside all the time, the sun and i dont mix well. lol
Mum2Maddieand1- Yay on starting to walk. Alyssa started taking steps at about 10.5-11 months and exactly 1 week before her birthday (Thursday arvo at 3.30pm) she just got up and started walking round like it was nothing, it was so awesome. They are so cute when the start wobbling round. hehe
Serendipity- Josie is beautiful, looking very cute and cuddly :D (i cant wait til Charli's out... NB/lil babies are so cute)
Charli has been moving non-stop for the last week, she found my hip bone last week and had been kicking and moving on that and today the lil terror found my ribs and must think its so funny to kick them :( I have to hold my hand there, shes so mean to me.... lol
Looking into moving house (our rent just went up) and selling my car, its all getting ontop of me and i've been really stressed and tired. Sorry if i whinge, just feels better to vent. lol

im good, just waiting for the time to tick by so i can meet my lil girl. only 9 weeks now..6 weeks till im term! yay!!.. i cant wait. BP went down a little at last appointment which is great. Shes moving lots and lots which is nice and reasurring :) We have everything we need for her now which is great. there is stuff everywhere!! it was all very expensive but i thought its alright coz we can use the stuff for future bub/s if need be so thats why we also brought it all brand new.

Alyssa's mum, i know im so excited about her walking, she took 19 steps yesterday so hopefully its just a matter of time until she just gets up and walks.
how has your week been? We are getting ready to move, so packing and cleaning and having people come through the house to view it. This is going to sound strange but some one hangs around our house nearly every night, We have been broken into and strange things like candles have been lit out side when we havent been home and when were asleep the security light comes on or we hear someone, a few weeks ago a man in a car stopped out the front and filmed out house. its all just way to weird, so i cant wait to leave here. lol

We've had a busy week, I went to a funeral on tues... my dads uncle passed away he was 86, nice age, then Wed we went to Dowerin Field Day, which is basically about farming and mens stuff! Was a good day... Brendan was very well behaved!!

I have another nefew as of saturday! hes gorgeous. My SIL gave birth to him on the loungeroom floor as there was just no time to get to the hospital.. mind u it was just down the road! They named him Ryley and he weighed 7lb even. hes sooo cute and has a full head of dark brown hair! i seen him all day yesterday and it made me so excited to see my lil girl :) i caant wait! just 6 more weeks to go!!
