Moderators, are we able to rename this thread? Can we call it younger parents chat?

I've been away for a week, just some time away. Glad to be back home now. DF and I have started TTC. I am not due to ovulate until late this week, but he's keen to get started now! (If those who have figured out who I am from other forums, please keep it to yourself ok. I like to stay private here).

I just sent Kat a PM to see if it is possible. Younger single mummies need somewhere to chat with other young mums too

    Echidna - are you charting?

Not sure if I told you guys about DH's accident just before Christmas, but his car is STILL off the road. Apparently there is water getting into the fuel and it won't start. There are pics in the gallery of the car post accident.

Yep Comprehensively insured, but the excess is $700, standard and age

He was on his way home from his morning run and it had just rained a light shower, and where it happened there is an old paint spill, which is very slippery in the wet. He took his foot off the accelerator (as you should) to regain contol and the traction conrol took over and slammed him into a light pole! He was on a round about and taking it at a suitable speed (40) and just missed a car with a pg woman in it in the other lane. Cops said it wasn't his fault and that this is one of the situations where technology does more harm than good.

Wow, Ali, I dont remember that happening, glad he was ok, but bugger about the car!! I hate that traction control kicks in whenever... if it's off it should stay off!

    Echidna, woohoo on TTC!

Brendan had his first day at daycare today, it went really well, next week he goes for the full day.
