We did get the bill for the pole last week (blooming expensive bill to!!! $1870!!!) But the insurance is covering it.

LJ and Sal - You will both get to 38+ weeks and deliver perfect healthy little bubs!! I am determined to help them stay put!!

TBH I wouldnt mind a slightly prem bub this time for the pain factor (I can hardly walk now!!) but I wouldn't get the birth I want and she would be sick so I dont want it either. I just want to be comfortable and be able to do things I like, Like shopping!!

I am so tempted to go to Trade Secret again and buy more Hot Milk but I have bills to pay and I am about to do internet grocery shopping. I love that they have them in a decent price range though!!

Kirra, it would be really wierd to go overdue.

Ali, would depend how prem you are talking 36+ weeks and you are ok (mostly) I wouldnt advise on wanting one any earlier though. Not only that is that the physical pain of pregnancy and labour is nothing compared to the emotional pain that lasts for years....

Maddi is huge, she's 8.5kg now!! Still wanting attention all the time & still not sleeping. So I dont get online much. Im much happier now we're in a bigger place, and now we have carpet Maddi has really taken off. Rolling around and almost starting to crawl, she gets up on her knees but then looses balance & falls over.

How is Brendan going? & yourself?

Kirra - Target has a baby sale on ATM. Fountain gate still has lots of stuff left. And Best & Less, Kmart & Big W have a lot of baby & kids stuff on clearance too

Sounds like she's doing REALLY well Sal!!

Brendan and I are just chugging along. Brendan is still seeing Speech, OT and CHN regularily. He has an appointment with the State Child Development Centre in Perth in May, he'll be 2 years corrected age then. Once he's had the assessment we'll have a better idea of just how far behind he is. Other than he's happy and healthy and thats the main thing. He's doing one day a week at daycare now, started last week.

Thanks Sal, bubs can be so demanding heh? Charli is very clingy when shes awake but luckily she sleeps ok. Heading down to fountain gate today, hopefully i'll snab some bargains. lol. How big is your new place, i remember you old place was kinda small.

We got a place, i put the form in on monday morning and we got a call tuesday arvo that we'd been accepted, its a 4bed, dbl remote garage, ducted heating, evap cooling, undercover entertaining area, very nice, i can't wait to move in. We gets the keys March 18 and we gonna start moving stuff straight away but wont spend the night there until saturday night when DP, his friends, his brother and my BIL get all the big furniture over.
We've also had 2 more calls for other places saying we'd been accepted, im glad its over and done with already though, i think myself luck i was only looking for a week

Did any-one in VIC not feel that earthquake last night???? It scared the crap out of alyssa, apparently it measured 4.6. DP said i just froze, but i didnt realise what it was until it had stopped, i thought it was the wind. Made me a lil uneasy though as we live on a hill and our house is on stumps and the WHOLE house literally shook

    Hi Tracey, welcome

Kirra - the new place is 3 bedrooms, study, ensuite, WIR, double garage with internal access. Massive backyard, ducted heating. It's around 3 times bigger than the old place, maybe more.
    Good luck with the move
Yeah we felt the earthquake here but, I thought it was a freight train coz they go past around the same time

Wow, it must be really big. lol. Atleast you have a backyard now though, im sure your doggy will love that.

I taped about 12 boxes together today and my aim before i go to bed is to fill them. So many things i cant pack yet though which is kind of annoying but i dont wanna leave it til the last minute either.

    Thanks Mods!!!! We love you!!!

Kirra - Good effort hun!!! I guess that is one of the good bits about defence moves - they pay the movers to pack it all!! I hate moving without movers.

Sal - New house sounds great!!! Very exciting!!

Tracey - Which show? The parenting show in Cairns? or is there another show that I am oblivious to?

Sally - We are still waiting for a DAP to get back to the clinical trial we did with Em. Bit concerned about her feet, the GP said to keep an eye on them. They roll in pretty badly. She still wont take her formula from a cup so I still can't get rid of the bottles. I have picked my battles though, it is better to get the calcium into her than to worry about how she gets it. DH wont be home until 34 weeks so she has to stay in till then at the absolute earliest. But I dont like spending time in hospitals with sick kids, BTDT.

Well I have to go and bring the dog in to the bathroom, just incase these damaging wind gusts do reach us. So glad we dont live between 100km south of us and Bundaberg!! That cyclone is getting stronger, he is soon to be a category 5 - The worst ones!!

alioops, how scary! Are you prepared? I'd be peeing myself, I like rain but storms are scary hehe.

Congrats on the new place Sal! Must be lovely having all that space Me and DP are going to buy a house June this year if all works out!

So . . . I'm still having funny spotting before my period so I'm thinking maybe #2 is on the way :P I don't know how I'll tell DP, he wanted to wait until next year for another bub! Eeep! He knows what's going on though and isn't upset, but I don't know how he'd react if I turned out to be UTD! I'm still hoping but

Nee - Much more scary in the past couple of days then it is now. Would be evacuating if we were in the path now!!! Having never seen a decent cyclone before it scares me more than a bush fire though.

    Good luck hun!!!!

Ali - Not long for you now, sooner or later, you'll be down to the double figures

all - Just enjoying my days off - though I am feeling pretty sick (flu wise) so I'm really hoping it goes away soon.. Today is the first day I've been pretty good with nausea, hopefully it's the start of it all slowing down, though I doubt it! Have a great weekend ladies

    Hi Everyone!,

My name is Jade and i am 23 and i have a 3 year daughter.

I was pregnant at 19 and gave birth to my 3 week, 5 day early 3.050kg (6lb 11oz) baby girl when i was 20! I understand the stares, comments and just down right rude ppl when you are a young mum. Yes my daughter was planned!

Amelia's biological father and I seperated when she was only 6 weeks old, and it was not as hard as i thought it would be to be a single mum. I have been with my partner for 2 years now and we have brought a house together a year ago and he is Amelia dad, even thou he was not there at the time of conception! TTC baby number 2

    Welcome Jade!

All my details are in my signature.

It is funny how people think when u are young that u accidently fell pregnant. It wasnt the case for us either. We tried for 2 years before we fell pregnant!

You lil girl is GORGEOUS! and i love her name!

Good luck for the TTC and sending lotsa baby dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello Jade and Welcome!!

I'm Sally (22), mum to Brendan (2) and 21 weeks pregnant with number two.
Brendan was born 10 weeks early (30+1) when my waters broke at 28 weeks. Did Amelia have any troubles due to being born a wee bit early?

Both my babies are planned. My Angel (m/c nov 07) was unplanned, but much loved.

Look forward to getting to know you!
