yay 9 weeks! did they think you would m/c?
yeah, its nice having company when your dp isnt around all the time, my dp used to work 11 days on 3 days off, i hated it. i got post natal depression because it was something he started after bub was born and we were stuggling for money and he had to do it but in the end i made him come home. im sure you will be fine though because you are used to it. i wasnt at all and i hate being on my own.
yum, ive just had dinner but now i feel like a roll with ham and cheese and tomato.... hmmm and some of my chutney lol.
lol..... i supose you could warm to Barbie........ lol

    oohh emma, welcome back!
dont worry, were all here for you, we know that at times it can be so hard but it gets easier and your doing a great job!
keep trying with the breast feeding. it took me 2-3 weeks to get it sussed properly. then i gave up at 5 months and i regret that soooooooo much.
dont owrry you will get through this! or ask your child health nurse for help, they are great, and if you dont like yours then change because htey are godsends when they are great, i used to go to mine crying all the time!

lol, i know, i hate it that you cant eat everything in pregnancy, i have been naughty though and have been making a few exeptions.
How do you pronounce Naima? i love the look of it, i think that is my favourite. also i love Niamh which is pronounced Neeve.

LOL Lauren just gently remind DF what he used to do before he met you hahahaha... although, I used to try that one with DH and it never worked, he said the hand got a redundancy package and retired to the Whitsundays the day we got together LOL

I love those names you've picked, did you notice you and DF were able to come up with more boys' than girls' names or vice versa?? DH and I had a big list of girls' names we both liked, but boys' names there was not ONE we could agree on!! So kind of glad we've got two girls because picking a boy's name would have taken the whole nine months lol

Congrats on making it to 9 weeks!!! Half the battle is won, you are well on your way to meeting a beautiful, healthy baby at the end of your pregnancy!! With DD it was my first time and I was soooo scared of something going wrong the whole time lol, it's easier second time around because you realise how resilient the little parasites are hehe, you don't panic every two minutes!

OMG Amy I am the same with recipes!! I get a recipe for something and automatically double it hahaha, DH and I are pigs lol so small amounts never last long around here, especially when we feed the dog so many of our leftovers because she flat-out refuses to eat dog food :/

Welcome back Emma, been waiting on tenterhooks for an update on things I was reading your thread about BFing little Jade today and I swear to God you are me nearly two years ago with Emily!! I had no end of trouble and no support so I ended up exhausting myself by expressing full-time and gave up at 6 weeks because it was all too much - if I had stuck it out just one week longer, I reckon we would have been alright, but the sleep deprivation was KILLING me...
You are doing a fantastic job though hun, glad to hear you have heaps of milk - too much is never a bad thing, just express and chuck or store whatever Jade isn't using and as time goes on you will work out a good routine to get a good supply. My problem was that Emily wasn't attaching properly, nipple shields weren't working, and my milk took FOREVER to come in even with constant expressing so Emily was having constant formula top-ups... I know you can make this work!!
Sucks that DP isn't helping out much, DH was the same, which annoyed me because DD was on bottles of EBM/formula so he could well have done feeding, at least!! Try not to stress about the housework, just go hide in your room if you have a TV and forget that the house looks like a bomb hit it
PM me if you need ANYTHING, okay?? How's your poor backside feeling now, any better?
