Congrats, Sally and Alioops!! Hope everyone is well, I'll have to go check out the BAs now and get the details Jobs well done, I'm sure.
Sorry I haven't been around much, Hayley has decided to start taking up all my time, as newborns do lol - I forgot how easy the first week or two are, then they start in with the constant needing stuff lol And Emily has been playing up, the little wretch... DH and I have had the flu this week and Emily has been upset because we're too miserable to deal with her, I spent most of yesterday yelling myself hoarse at her because she just wouldn't behave... thankfully my parents dropped by on their way to the Mt Larcom show so they took her and kept her overnight so DH and I could rest... ha! Hayley chose last night to either start a growth spurt, or just start feeding constantly... my boobs dried up completely and she was still yowling for more. I had to jump in the shower with her at around midnight because she popped and peed all over both of us while I was changing her nappy, DH wasn't happy because he wanted to go to bed... then she was waking every two hours during the night, usually she sleeps through or I wake her once or twice... so, I'm relieved that she's being 'normal' now and waking herself, but sheesh, just ONE night of sleep to help me get over this flu would have been nice!
*sigh* lol, but I feel MUCH better today, DH has taken Emily to the carwash with him so I can get some laundry done without her under my feet
How is everyone else going?? Lauren, how are you feeling now that LJ has gone home? I hope you're okay, I know you're feeling really down about Beau moving away for work... I think there is a thread somewhere for the members who have partners who work away, maybe you can get some tips there on ways to cope with things? Let me know if there's anything I can do for you, what a rough patch you're going through at the moment hun... *big hugs*
Welcome, Trini The time does go sooo fast, doesn't it?? You blink and they're off to kindy, go to sleep and when you wake up they're in high school lol... it's unbelievable.
Anyways, better stop here because Hayley's having a quiet whinge on the couch, and I have a basket of washing to fold up and put away It never stops!!
