'I know something *you* don't know!' hehe love it! Thats so sad about your MIL and you loss! DP and i had only been together for a short while when we started 'trying', but we've lived together since day one and have had a pretty intense (but awesome) relationship. But yeah, thats another reason we hadnt told people.
Arg i feel SO much better just knowing im not the only one that is doing what im doing IYKWIM ...
Glamour that sounds awesome, your nan coming up. I bet the girls will love it! I love my nan! She's the best!
Heavenly i want a big family, DP does too just doesnt know it yet LOL
We are all better now *yay* Poor Tristan didnt handle it so well and didnt gain as much weight as what the CHN wanted, he's fallen off the bottom of the charts now, but i'm sure he'll pick up soon!
At 4 months old he is 4980 grams 60cms long... Brendan was 4280 grams and 52.5 cms long... so not really a great deal of difference considering they were 1545 grams and 9.5 cms difference at birth! Thought that was interesting :-D
Tristan has started teething... he chews on his hands hehe kinda cute. Got an amber teething necklace... brilliant!
And just to make sure I dont get much time at all... I'm now a partylite consultant!! Still getting started slowly... but hopefully now we are all better I can get into it :-D
Brendan has a hearing test on the 30th and I think, going by all the cuts and bruises on his legs, his ears have gotten worse. He's been so clumsy lately, has grazes and cuts all over his legs. Then after his hearing test I am heading off for a weekend away! Going to Bunbury for one night then Busselton for one night, then home Going to visit 3 friends while I'm down there. It should be good, just me and the boys going. Nigel has plans on the Sat.
I was shown an article on toilet training children with SID (sensory intergration dysfunction) and somehow I dont think we'll be toilet training this summer. Basically Brendan doesnt feel when he goes. The signals from the bowel/bladder get confused by the brain and dont get processed properly (which is what SID is, the brain not processing signals properly) but I dont mind, it would be nice to have him trained, but Brendan cannot be pushed into things, if he doesnt want to do it you cannot make him... well you can make him do some things but it usually means he goes backwards for a while so its usually not worth it.
He's coming along so well... his latest thing is saying "ta mum" so cute... he actually calls me mum now when he wants something, so proud!!
We didnt tell anyone we were TTC... Brendan we werent completely TTC just going with the flow. Tristan we were trying, charting too. I couldn't care less what others thought, this is our family. Nigel is starting to stand up to people now too. Whenever someones says that we shouldnt do that or should do this he says, they are my kids and I'll do what I want LOL... it's good and kinda funny
YAY Monika thats fantastic!! As you know Brendan was born the same weight as Serenity but it took him 6 weeks to reach 2.1kg! He was 2090 grams when discharged at 5w6d old.
Brendan's hearing test didnt go well at all, he failed... have to go back again end of month. He also has ear infections again, so on drops for that. Poor fella has been through so much in the past two days. the dr tried flushing his ear yesterday with no luck so we were up at the hospital this morning to get it done. Never ending around here...
I'm going well too... almost completely off my meds now
Just wanted to pop in and see how you're all doing! Babies sound like they're growing well Mummies sound good too!
Ill try and post more so personals are up to date etc
Hey girlies,
Can I join in? I have only just discoved this area of belly belly! Devistated I hadnt found it earlier! I am 7 weeks pregnant with my first, and belly belly seems to be my only friend atm cause all my friends are in different stages of life.. they like to go to discos and silly things where they all get drunk and do stupid things.
I have read a bit of the older posts and see that alot of u have bubs already, but I am interested to find out more about you all. I live in the outer eastern suburbs of melbourne.. In a semi rural area, nice and quite. I was diagnosed with endometriosis a few years ago and I am extatic that I am UTD after only about 4 months of trying. Really parranoid that it might go away. But I have my fingers crossed and I am keeping my legs shut so nothing falls out
