I had my Ob appointment today and i dont have gestational diabetes thank god.
he measured my tummy and it was measuring at 31 weeks. he double checked it and it was still 31 weeks. thats 2.5 weeks bigger. in all ultra sounds the baby has been measuring 1 week bigger which would be correct with my LMP but they are going from the very first ultra sound. im hopnig this means i might go into labour early and be able to have bubs naturally rather than c-section.

mum2maddie- thats so good to hear you dont have GD! I had a similar thing with the fundal height with DS. At 27 weeks I measured 33wks I almost fell off the bed! But then my belly didnt grow again until 34 weeks-must have been a massive growth spurt. I do hope your bubs is further along and you get your natural birth :)

AFM- Daniel is going well, a bit unsettled lately but thats ok everything seems to be going well. My Aunty just had a baby yesterday via C-section after being induced 2 weeks early because her OB thought the baby would be too big to go full term. Not a reason I would get induced but each to their own I say. Either way I now have a new cousin, hoping to see him soon!

Long time no chat. Uni has been flat out and these trips to gold coast and back are killing me. I just want uni to be over for the yeat so I can move down there and never have to do the drive again!!

I tried to catch up on the last few pages of threads but I'm flat out reading and making sense of my own name at the moment.

Rainy weather here atm yuck. What did everyone do for fathers day.

We have 2 new additions to the family ...a dart board and a bbq :dance:

We have also found out recently I am almost 7 weeks pregnant. I've forgotten how much it takes out of you already...so so tired allll of the time.

Can't wait to heat what you hve all been up to (2 weeks uni hol's this week) so should be able to pop in more often.

Well on the weekend my dd turned 3 and the night before here bday my now XDH yay spent his whole pay at a strip club so no present no food no bill money lucky I got here something so was ok....I read the book "he's just not that into you" and found it great really helping me move on....

I've started getting pelvic pain when I walk now so not that great but I have my next scan on the 30 so that's exciting

Yeah I'm feeling good it was at this point I went into early labour and I'm not that worried ATM although I'm getting over being pregnant fast lol but I'm hoping she comes in 8 weeks

Mon- thats not good to hear about DD's dad :( Some men will never get their priorities right. My ex (Elijah and Ellas father) is still exactly the same person as when we split 3.5 years ago... and people say in a relationship you should grow together not apart...yet some men don't grow at all!!! I hope everything else is going well, I love the sound of your pink high chair!

I'm rather lucky that Jarrad has kept all Chace's baby stuff..we only really need a cot and clothes. I got rid of all of my baby things when Ryan and I seperated.

Lauren thanks for the congrats I think I am only a little behind you :p I am 7 weeks due 28th April approx. I am having a dating scan in 2 weeks...can't wait to make sure all is ok. Just to put the mind at ease.

Sal I've been getting scans every 4 weeks to check cervix but that's it but I just went into labour my cervix didn't weaken oh well

got curtains from the op shop today 2 sets only $25 bargain lol the 2 big kids have been in my bed so hoping they will stop them waking up with the sun and I got pink ones coz when mally room fixed hunters joining him for a boy room so I got pink ones for hu ters current room....just sorting the giant pile of folded clothes and putting me and hunters away....carpet and paint should be in the next week

Well I was naughty and basically used xdh for dtd last night but I got mine and he didn't so I think that makes it ok...he wanted more but I said he had to wait til next time I might be in the mood lol


I will not get sucked in he was trying so scam staying so I basically wrote a list of thing I deserve to get from a man kisses cuddles love, not going to strippers or looking at fotos and I just said if you can't do that were better off moving on and him moving out

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Monika (Heavenly) is in hospital, her waters broke last night (32 weeks) She'll be there till bubs is born, which will hopefully be 2-3 weeks *fingers crossed* They've got the steroids on board to help with Serenity's lungs.

Please keep her in your thoughts.

was born at 2:40am via emerg. Csec after I woke up with contractions every 5 and 5cm dialated the 10 min later 7 cm with her knee coming....she weighs 1.535 so slightly smaller than hunter...born at 32+3 after my waters broke at 32 weeks

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at our 9 week scan. On Thurday night I delivered the sac and I would not wish it upon anyone. The doctor who told me it would be a heavy period obviously has no experience in missed miscarriages. It was just as painful as birth! I think we will wait a few months before TTC again. After having 2 healthy kids I though I may have been invincible when it comes to childbearing.

Hope all the pregnant mums are doing well and warm wishes to those TTC and new mummy's.

:comfort: I'm so sorry Indi, miscarriage is awful, I wouldnt wish it on anyone either. I'm sorry your doctor was so ignorant too, some people just have no idea. Just keep close to the people you love, and I am genuinely thinking of you in this time. Xx

Indi- Darling im so sorry :( dealing with loss is so so hard. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

As for me... meh. Not much doing, kids are good, DH is being a prime butthead atm, and I'm taking things one day at a time. Need an appt with my GP to talk about some stuff, so hopefully that all gets sorted asap - I'm so tired of feeling like cr@p every day.

Serenity is doing great!!!!!!she weighed 1670g yesterday and was 2 weeks old already should be home max of two weeks they think temp is great and has spent the last week in a normal cot so just gotta stop calories in a couple days I think and see she still puts on weight and she has to do all suck feeds but she did 6/8 the other day so not too far off....

Hating the weather it's like 35 but the heat has been giving me lots of headaches onvthe plus I'm down to 67.9 this morning so a couple kg less than pre pg which is fantastic can just button my size 10 jeans which I couldn't do before now just got to work on this excess skin lol

Glamourcide: I know. 18 weeks tomorrow! its so insane but yeah my little man is good hes moving now which is so amazing and i havent had morning sickness for a few weeks and my belly is still small but is bigger than its ever been im just starting to use pregnancy belts :) but yeah its so surreal!

Hi all just updating....serenity is 18 days old today and doing great she weighed 1.73kg yesterday and her calories were cut and her feeds were put up to 39-3hrly or 42-4hrly and she's been having 45 ml every 3 hrs this morning so doing great!!!!! She will be home when she reaches 1.8kg so probably Friday when she will be 3 weeks old...would be 35 weeks tomorrow

Afternoon ladies, was wondering if you would mind lil ole me joining in on your thread hehe.

I've not really been lurking so yet to catch up with where everyone's at but for me, im 22, DP is 24, we've been TTC since May 08, so far unexplained infertility. Trying to lose weight to cross that off the possible reasons for no bub & thats about it hehe.

Was wondering if anyone else feels like they need to keep their TTC secret because of their age? I've only told my BEST friend because i know she wont judge me but there's no way i'd feel comforable enough to openly tell people. Is that wierd? But then when we are FINALLY blessed with a bubba i dont know how i'd deal with people assuming it was an accident?

We told people when we were TTC #3, and everyone was happy for us. We were 22. We didn't TTC the other 2, DD1 was if it happens great, DD2 was complete surprise.
