    My understanding is that they have a better chance inside you than in a laboratory. So if you've only got 1 egg, then definitely a 2 day transfer is your best bet!

    Like Pholi said, growing them to 3 or 5 days is a strategy to use when you've got multiple eggs and you want to see whih will be viable.

    My clinic do the same as Pholi's. They aim for a 5dt but only if you have plenty of embryos. I only had two so we did a 2dt which is now my 17 month old daughter. Good luck!!!

    Both my pregnancies came from embies frozen at 2 days and defrosted on day of transfer. So they definitely can work!

    Thx girls, so good to hear some success stories. Went ahead this morning, they said the embie had significant vacuoles, so I'm not sure how hopeful they are. Now the wait!
