Thanks Mummy - I got a BFP today! So happy right now - shows its all worth it!
That is fantastic news!!! Congratulations!!! It definitely is all worth it when you have that baby in your arms. I'm still spotting every second day or so but my hcg levels have increased as they're meant too from last week. Just taking it day by day and having my pregnancy tracking blood test each Monday, can't wait for next Monday's as the spotting worries me. I wish I could relax more but it's hard when you get pregnant this way. Take care of yourself x
Hi ladies. Just had my 5tth ivf embryo transfer 6 days ago and I've started bleeding fresh. So worried about this. Have appt with ivf dr on mon and blood test to see if pregnant on wed. Nothing was said about increasing my 2 per dsy crinone. Any suggestions or advice. Really freaking out and partner doesn't understand what I'm going through :'( Thank you.
Hi Hopeful Mum, I had forgotten about the start of my pregnancy until you replied to this. I have a 15 month old daughter now! I had heavy bleeding like a period and thought it was all over however I did get a positive result. It wasn't until my 12 week scan that I found out I had a blood clot in the uterus (probably when embryo attached) which was not harmful to bub but I bled on and off until about 16 weeks when it all cleared. So my advice would be not to give up until you have that pregnancy test. There are so many strange things that can happen. Try keep yourself busy to take your mind off of it (I know that's hard!). You will eventually have a baby in your arms and it's worth all the persistence, emotional roller coaster and hard work xx
Hi Hopeful mum.
Try to keep busy Hun and try not to stress. I know that's easier said than done. I have a beautiful 7 month old baby girl from my 6th transfer. I did have bleeding with her for a night and I thought it was all over and didn't even go for my blood test and didn't want to bad news again. Once the bleeding stopped for a few days I decided I should go get a blood test and was so amazed I had a huge hcg level. I only used crinone the first time I did ivf as I hated it so much I asked for hcg injections instead - my dr was happy for me to do that.
I have also heard of other success stories with bleeding so try to stay positive.
Have you joined the long term trying to conceive forum? There is a bunch of wonderful ladies there who are so knowledgable and are all trying to conceive. I found it so helpful as it's somewhere where I could ask questions, support others and have support from others in similar situations. My partner was useless through our journey.
Let us know how you go. Rest up xx
Thank you beau30 and mummy94. Your comments are giving me more hope than I had :-) I don't have the normal sort of cramping leading up to a period. Booked to see fertility dr mon arvo so hopefully he may have some news. I started taking crinone 3 times now as I am hoping that may also give my embryos a chance. 2 went in from 8 collected, none frozen this time. Only 1 frozen at all, from previous cycle. Will keep posted of what happens. May be in need of some understanding support :-( Praying that it's all great news this Wednesday at the blood test. Thank you again.
