Day 5 blast transferred had already fully hatched

Hun I did a hpt the day I got my results and it still was so feignt I miss took it for a bfn. I had to hold it up in different lights etc to see where the line was! Don't give up hope. I also did one at 9dp5dt that was neg.

Jaki80 - I am 9 days past transfer, AF due last night (but I am on progesterone pessaries until BT). Traditionally (when I have been PG including the MC's) I have always got a BFP by now. But thanks

Hun, I'm not sure if this worked for us, but both times I fell pg with IVF, we DTD the night before transfer. I read somewhere that it's supposed to help with implantation (it might actually mention this on the flyer the IVF people give you). I have also had a friend that did do acupuncture and she had a BFP with that.
I got my very very faint line only 10 days post transfer hun...........there is still hope!!!! GL hunni xx

Do you mind if I ask if you transfered a 3 day or 5 day old embie?

Basically I am now figuring out what I can do better next time around. It will be our last chance. I did a natural FET cycle this month, but maybe the other type has a higher implantation rate (I have absolutely no idea).

Thanks to everyone for the kind support on this wall. DH and I feel so blessed to have our two children and I went into this cycle feeling very relaxed (if it's mean't to be, it's mean't to be). But today I feel totally crushed

Hi hun,
I had 2 blasties transferred (on separate occasions) from the first and only cycle I did in 2008. Basically my FS told me that it's still the fastest way to get pg as implantation rates are higher with a 5 day old blastie. At the time of going for my cycle I had a pretty big fibroid in my uterus, so he was concerned that if we go day 2 or 3 we might be taking too long to get pg. I had one fresh blastie transferred in 2008 and I got pg, but sadly I lost my angel at 21 weeks because the fibroid went ferral on me. We then made the decision to remove the fibroid and waited 6 months for my uterus to heal, and then I had a FET in July last year which also resulted in a pg. We are going again later this year hopefully, and I have a feeling he'll want to go to day 5 again. I am concerned that because I am older now, we might not get to day 5, so will ask if he will consider day 3. I had my 'egg reserve' levels checked and they were fine, so he said the quality of my eggs should be OK. He will just increase my dose of gonal (I was on 225 I think). Talk to your FS hun but he is probably coming from the same angle as my FS. GL hun in whatever you decide to do, I really hope you get your number 3 very soon!

I do respect your concern about doing a cycle this year. I wasn't much younger (38.5) when I did the cycle which resulted in DS. I'd be more than happy to share with you some information about how I attempted to improve my egg quality. Feel free to PM me anytime.
