DD was slow to start off - when she should have been 6w5d she was only measuring 5w4d. she had a heartbeat but it was slower than it should have been, so i was all stressed out. she's now a very healthy happy little girl!

Thanks again ladies for your lovely support

The FS was optimistic today, giving me examples where the embryo did in fact implant late and women have gone to have a healthy pg, but he also gave me the other case scenario which of course was expected. He read the report to me and I was shocked to hear that a heart rate was noted on there at 1342bpm, b/c this wasn't mentioned to me at the scan b/c I think I was too shocked with the 'a week behind in dates' comment that I didn't even ask. I could see a flutter but she did that thing where it's supposed to appear at the bottom of the screen with sound and there was no sound! So the FS said that's really positive as anything over 100 bpm is good. So he took a BT today to see what the levels are doing and I will have another BT on Monday, and he said that should indicated which way things are heading. I have absolutely everything crossed for a good outcome, it's so hard just hanging there in limbo! He said not to stress too much, hellooooooooooo!!! too late mate

BG, your story is very encouraging, thanks for sharing hun. I am hoping to have a good ending like you and your DD

Will keep you update ladies, I'm now crapping my pants about the result of the BT tomorrow

Miss B, That sounds fantastic. A hb of 134bpm is perfect at 6/7 weeks and its so easy to make a mistake with the 'age' of the embryo because they are soooo tiny at this stage. In fact you may not be behind as much as you were initially told.

Good luck for the BT, but Im sure everything will be ok.

Aww thanks Diamond Girl, I love your positivity and really appreciate it. I'm glad you're on the ball b/c according to me the heart beat was 1342 bpm! I seriously have lost the plot The HB should have read 132 bpm....

    1342bpm would be worrying!

I think it sounds encouraging MissB. Try not to let it worry you too much.

    Take care x

Thank so much n2l, yes 1342 bpm would be a tad too high

    Phew about the typo!

FX your bub was just a late implanter.

FWIW, this bub's hb was only 120 bpm at 6w, so I think your hb sounds quite healthy.

DD's HB was only at 97 at first scan too - so it's sounding a lot more positive than her start. and she is perfect now (well, as perfect as the average 2 year old can be when they've been out with Granma and had friends feed them chocolate and juice all day... sigh...)
